Digital Photography

SACE Credits: 20

Teacher: Lisa Coultas

This subject allows you to follow the design process to investigate, critically analyse, test, produce and evaluate digital photography. Topics discussed are based on the impacts communication products have on individuals, society and/or the environment e.g. paper and ink use, e-waste, death of film photography, rights of intellectual property, image manipulation.

There is a focus on creating, testing, modifying and communicating design ideas for an identified need. You are given the opportunity to develop practical and problem solving skills while taking photos based on technical skills.
