Business Innovation offers students an opportunity to understand how businesses operate, how they contribute to the economy and the factors that can influence the management of a business. We will explore topics such as, the impact of emerging technology in the business sector, the psychology and creativity behind marketing including consumer rights and understanding the internal and external factors that can impact a business’ operation and performance. This will include students creating a hypothetical business plan of their own detailing operation, management and associated financial costs.
Students learn how to solve complex real world issues on a local, national and global level. This provides a strong foundation for their critical thinking skills, while also providing a sound preparation for Business Innovation or Economics at Stage 2.
