The focus of Media Studies is on exploring the dynamic role of media in Australian and global contexts. You will develop an understanding of the ways in which media provide views of world events, interpretations of the world, and entertainment. There is a chance to make your own products and interact with a range of media products. There is no exam in this topic, however you will need to produce a 2000 word Investigation, as well as two high level film productions. The topics that will be studied include Documentaries, Cult Television and Film, as well as Advertising and Audiences.
