In Accounting you will learn the processes involved with recording and reporting businesses financial records. You will learn the important skill of how to make effective decisions using accounting information.
The first semester will focus on basic Accounting concepts and the process of recording and reporting financial information. The second semester will focus on the role and need for Accounting in society and the analysis and interpretation of financial information.
There will be an opportunity for students to choose an optional topic in each semester. Topic choices will range from personal financial management to corporate finance and the management of cash-flows.
It is an advantage for students to take Stage 1 Accounting before Stage 2 Accounting.
